Diy

Some of the diy’s done for my little one.

Bookshelf:

I have introduced books to Ayush from his 6th month onwards and he loves it when I read books to him. Now he has a good collection of books and he always chooses books from his collection. But I wanted him to pick the books easily and I decided to make the front facing bookshelf and after some research on Pinterest, I have made this bookshelf using cardboard. I do rotate books once in 10 days according to his interest.

Shoe Rack:

Two-piece shapes puzzle:

Knob puzzle:

This is the first puzzle I have introduced to my little one.

Just cut down some basic shapes in cardboard and use the cut pieces to match the shapes in cardboard.

Ispy bag:

Ispy bags are a super fun way to engage your little ones. This bag contains some tiny objects that kids can find by manipulating the bag. I have used felt sheets and OHP sheet for making the bag.

Collect different buttons, pom pom balls, wooden clips, colour beads.

Fill the bag with rice and dal and collected craft items.

Socks match:

I have made this socks matching activity using felt sheet. Just draw socks pattern on paper and cut the same in felt sheets of different colours.

Colour match:

Another simple activity to match colours.

Finger puppet:

Stamp:

I have plenty of bottle caps with me and wanted to make use of those caps. So I decided to something simple and here is the procedure to it.

Cut his favourite things apple, duck and star from foam sheet.

Use glue gun to stick those with bottle caps.

Popsicle stick puzzle:

I always carry some simple things to engage my little one during flight journey and I made this simple popsicle puzzle.

Take a printout of any of your kids favourite picture.

Arrange some popsicle sticks in order and paste the picture on it and then cut into pieces, here I cut into 3 pieces. Also, I have attached a magnet piece on the back of popsicle so that he can attach on the metal box.

Memory game:

I have made a memory game using felt sheet and buttons and chose transport theme, bought some transport based buttons and stitched buttons on the top side and attached velcro on the back side and made this game.
