Crayons:
Kids loves to scribble something.
When Ayush was 15 months old I have introduced him crayons(Faber castle grasp crayons/u can go for ball crayons too) at first he didn’t like it at all and kept it inside. When I gave him after 1 month he started to scribble on the floor and now all the walls in our house are his scribbling.

Paint:
As toddlers draw or paint, it becomes easy to make them identify colours and objects. I am a bit hesitant to give him paint bought from a store as he still mouths everything, so I thought to make paint at home. After some research, I have found 2 easy procedures to prepare homemade paint.
Procedure 1:
Mix equal amount of all-purpose flour and water without any lumps.
Add a drop of food colour.
your homemade paint is ready.
Procedure 2:
Take curd.
Add a drop of food colour/little amount of any vegetable juice.
your homemade paint is ready.

Leaf painting:
Ayush showed interest to paint, so I have introduced different types of paints to him. One of them is leaf painting. We just went to the park and plucked different types of leaves and with our homemade paint, he enjoyed his painting for more than 1 hour.

Ice painting:
Another huge hit was ice painting. Just squeeze some paint into an ice tray and insert popsicle sticks on it, freeze it for hours your ice paint is ready.

Finger stamp:
I just bought two colour stamps and let him use his fingers to touch and stamp on paper.

I have prepared stamps using bottle caps and foam sheets.
Cut his favourite things apple, duck and star from foam sheet.
Used glue gun to stuck those with bottle caps.

Playdoh:
Ayush loves to play with atta dough when I prepare roti, so I thought to introduce him to play dough and prepared homemade play dough.

Balloon painting :
This is such a simple and fun activity for toddlers. I just squeezed some paint onto the paper plate and took one balloon. My little one happily started dipping the balloon into the paint and stamp on the newspaper.
